WILDLIFE CRIME presents results at ECSA 2024

23. April 2024 Sparkling Science
Marktstand mit Artefakten
In the Sparkling Science project, pupils are researching the illegal trade in wild animals and plants.

At the European Citizen Science Conference ECSA at the beginning of April, the WILDLIFE CRIME project presented its results on a poster and was represented at Citizen Science Day.

Since the start of the project in autumn 2022, the team at the Natural History Museum Vienna has been working with high school students on the topic of "Illegal wildlife trade" and raising awareness of international species conservation. Participants will be actively involved in research processes and work on the scope, background and effects of illegal wildlife trade using case studies.

The poster provides an insight into the research to date and is available online HERE.
