This year's education fair is aimed at stakeholders from the fields of schools and education. On site, they will have the opportunity to gain an overview of the offers and developments in the education landscape and to network with other interested parties.
The OeAD will also be represented on site and present its numerous initiatives and topics such as Young Science and Citizen Science. Visitors are invited to stop by the booth to learn about a variety of activities for students and to learn more about science-school collaboration. Teachers who would like to delve deeper into the topic of Citizen Science at schools can attend the lecture "Citizen Science: School classes join in research!" on May 13.

Citizen Science: school classes join in the research!
With Citizen Science, schoolchildren can contribute to current research questions themselves. Numerous projects as well as the Citizen Science Award, an annual research competition, invite students to observe the animal and plant world, explore Austrian political participation and make other relevant contributions to science and research. In this presentation you will learn more about the OeAD's offerings on Citizen Science in schools and how you can integrate Citizen Science projects in your daily school life.
