Lectures on Citizen Science
Citizen Science attracts growing interest from research institutions in many disciplines and funding agencies at national and international levels. On the one hand, the number of potential data sets and sources increases with the participation of the public. On the other hand, scientific literacy among the public is increasing and the acceptance of science, research and innovation in society is improving.
The Center for Citizen Science, as a service and information center with extensive experience and expertise in managing Citizen Science funding programs, seeks to assist research institutions in caring out Citizen Science. With a series of free lecture modules we would like to improve your know-how in Citizen Science and present the motives, opportunities and challenges of this research approach.
