Open Science: What's in it for me?

Why should you work out in the open? What keeps you from using open methods and principles and does anybody give you credits for this? In the last couple of years, research has changed and became more permeable, but there are still a lot of uncertainties and limitations on various levels. In this Afternoon talk, Daniel Dörler (Citizen Science Austria, Boku, Vienna) and Benjamin Missbach (Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft, Open Innovation in Science Center) present their work from the OANA – Open Science Network Austria Trainings Working Group and will give instructions on how open methods can be implemented in research practices.
