Digital teaching and learning materials

Participatory phase to create digital teaching and learning materials with citizen science methods

After the two calls for digital teaching and learning materials have ended (see "Past calls"), eight projetcs of the first call started in February 2019 in which teachers, pupils and adult learners have been working together with experts to further develop digital learning materials.

The projects

For the participatory phase, the editable learning materials on topics such as the expansion of the basic vocabulary, intercultural dialogue, minerals or soil research are presented on the Eduthek platform. School classes - from primary to secondary level II - but also all interested parties can use these teaching materials free of charge until the end of the school year, comment on them and give feedback.

Feedback can be given on the content and graphic design as well as on usability. There is also the possibility for exchanging expertise and information with ohter citizen scientists on the platform.

In September 2019, 12 projects of the second call started. In addition, a project of the first call for proposals on the topic of "Digitisation and Society" will be funded.

The program is funded by the Innovationsstiftung für Bildung and  carried out by the Public Science Department at OeAD.
