Citizen Science, Open Innovation, Co-Creation, Crowdsourcing – science starts to open up: More and more citizens support researchers. They measure, observe, map. They work on a voluntary basis in scientific projects and enrich science with their special know-how and exciting new points of view.

On 12 November 2018, the most dedicated citizen scientists will be awarded with the Citizen Science Awards 2018 by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research. Before the award ceremony, the research projects will organise workshops, tours and other activities.
